The Indonesia Securities Investor Protection Fund (SIPF) under the PT Operator of the Indonesian Securities Investor Protection Program (PPPIEI) was established to provide investment protection for investors / investors in Indonesia through the implementation of the Investor Protection Fund (DPP).
Protection of investor assets is needed because of dependence on securities companies acting for their investment interests. Companies or securities institutions that are members of the DPP have the authority to record, store, transfer, use and report investor asset transactions in the context of transaction activities for the benefit of investors. However, securities companies can also use these securities for the benefit of companies or employees, which are categorized as fraud.
Therefore, Indonesia SIPF through the DPP program is here to become a protection institution in overcoming investment problems lost due to fraud, so as to provide a sense of security and comfort for investors in investing in the Indonesian capital market.
