On September 29 2023 or after the IPM 2023 Ceremony, Indonesia SIPF held a National Seminar with the theme: "Investors Feeling Disadvantaged, Where Should They Complain?". This theme was raised on the basis that the capital market is an industry that already has complete regulations, including in terms of investor protection. So with quite a number of protection mechanisms and institutions existing in the Indonesian capital market, investors and the public need to know to what extent each mechanism and institution can accommodate investors' needs.
This National Seminar was held in a hybrid manner (offline and online) and was attended by more than 100 participants. Mrs. Friderica Widyasari Dewi as Chief Executive of Financial Services Business Conduct, Education and Consumer Protection Supervision had the opportunity to attend to give a keynote speech. Furthermore, the speakers who gave presentations in this National Seminar were Mr. Sabar Wahyono as Director of Consumer Services, Complaint Inspection and Regional EPK OJK, Mr. Tri Legono Yanuarachmadi as Director of Dispute Services for the Alternative Institution for Dispute Resolution in the Financial Services Sector (LAPS SJK), and Mr. Fajar Piscesa as Head of the IDX Exchange Member Compliance Division, and guided by Moderator from the Director of Indonesia SIPF, Mrs. Mariska Aritany Azis.
