Investor Protection Fund: The Credibility of Capital Market and Investor Protection Fund

Capital market is of the essence in supporting the growth of local economy for a long-term to the extent it is well-nurtured (Caporale, et al. 2004). This year, government aims 6,5%-6,8% of economy growth. Additionally, capital market can also be used as transmission channel through liquidity supply, risk diversification, and to allocate public's deposit that might stimulate economy growth (Atje & Jovanic, 1993). Moreoover, according to a research by Silverstovs and Duong (2006), the extent of capital market's role is the growth of real sector.
