Indonesia SIPF held a two-day online Professional Workshop on the Implementation of Anti-Fraud Strategies and Cybersecurity for Investor Asset Protection in the Indonesian Capital Market on October 22–23, 2025.
This activity is part of the continued series of Investor Protection Month (IPM) 2025, whose opening ceremony was previously held on October 7, 2025, as a form of continuous commitment to strengthening investor protection in the Indonesian capital market.
The workshop, organized by Indonesia SIPF as an appreciation for the cooperation and support from its Members and other stakeholders, was attended by various capital market stakeholders, including Friderica Widyasari Dewi, Chief Executive of Financial Services Business Conduct, Education, and Consumer Protection Supervision of OJK; Gusrinaldi Akhyar, President Director of Indonesia SIPF; Dwi Shara Soekarno, Director of Indonesia SIPF; representatives from OJK, Self-Regulatory Organizations (SROs) and their subsidiaries, association leaders, as well as executives from securities companies and custodian banks as Members of Indonesia SIPF.
All parties have been working together in synergy to strengthen investor protection through education and literacy programs, contributing to the continuous increase in the Investor Confidence Index in investing in the capital market.
This competency enhancement workshop was open to Indonesia SIPF Members free of charge. It featured expert speakers in their respective fields — Syahraki Syahrir on the first day and Faisal Yahya on the second day.
Through this workshop, Indonesia SIPF hopes that by improving the understanding and capabilities of its Members in managing potential fraud and enhancing cybersecurity, the synergy among industry players can serve as an effective preventive measure to minimize risks and prevent potential losses.
